You know us: we love connecting with people and making them happy whenever we can. Darjus and I have been supporting those in need, such as Rimantas Kaukenas Charity Group and similar initiatives, for years now. So when a woman named Laima approached us a bit more than a month ago and told a story of her son Dominykas, we knew right away we wanted to help.

It turned out that 16-year-old Dominykas, who currently have a brain tumor and is being treated in Kaunas Clinics, is a big fan of LavTwins and basketball in general. That’s why his mother kindly asked us, if possible, to create a short video wishing Dominykas healthy and happy holidays.

Darjus and I decided to make it even more special and meet the boy in person at Kaunas Clinics — but we soon got the news that he was released from it earlier than expected. This didn’t discourage us, and we invited both Dominykas and Laima to the FIBA Europe Cup match between BC Wolves and Badalona Juventut right before Christmas, on December 20th, in Vilnius.

Even though the match wasn’t the most successful for the Wolves, the time with our guests was a blast! We showed them around the Avia Solutions Group arena and the players’ locker rooms, watched the game together in the front row, and shared joyful emotions.

Also, we’ll never forget one moment that completely melted our hearts: Dominykas and his mother told us that day was the best day of their lives. We couldn’t be more grateful for having this opportunity to make them feel way — it was truly an honor!
