As some lucky fans already know, we tested the comedy waters in Kaunas with our killer jokes back in December 28th. Well, guess what? We’re back with the “Brothers Anecdote Show,” and this time, we promise it’s going to be even more serious — seriously hilarious.
People used to call us basketball players, but in reality, we’ve always been comedians at heart. Just over a year ago, we hung up our jerseys, and we knew we couldn’t just sit around doing nothing. Darjus and I thought to ourselves: it can’t be just the Olympics or our sports success people love us for… Indeed, let’s not forget our knack for poking fun at ourselves! Not everyone’s got that talent, but lucky for us, the Lavrinovic brothers do.
Our “Brothers Anecdote Show” follows the simple four-quarters principle of a basketball game. We’ll be tossing original jokes at each other, sharing laughs, and spilling some unheard stories from our youth year and our time in the national team.
Sure, cracking jokes on stage is a whole different ball game (pun intended) than doing it with friends, but with hard work and a pro team from “Vabalo filmai” backing us, we’re getting the hang of this comedian thing pretty quickly.
