2022 is a HUGE year for basketball in our homeland of Lithuania, where we’re celebrating 100 years of our national sport.

The Lavrinovic Twins are proud to have been part of the national team at the Olympic Games, FIBA World Cup, and EuroBasket, whilst we have also played for several domestic clubs including Zalgiris Kaunas, Lietuvos Rytas, and Lietkabelis, where we represented the club together.

The Tallest Twins are a rich part of basketball history in Lithuania having been part of the teams that have won gold, bronze, and silver medals in the 2003, 2007, and 2013 EuroBasket respectively.

But this year is much bigger than the LavTwins alone — as a smaller nation, Lithuania is known around the world as being a country that consistently produces great teams and players, and it’s a celebration for the whole of Lithuania to embrace our rich heritage and proud traditions in the sport. Long may it continue!
