Remember our new little point guard who joined the Lavrinovic family back in April? Even if me and my wife Tatjana wish to slow down time, baby Kristian couldn’t care less. He is doing his own thing — he’s growing fast every single day (Kristian knows that the Lithuanian basketball team needs him, I can already see it in his eyes!).

In September, we celebrated a very special occasion — Kristian’s christening. The whole Lavrinovic family gathered together in Švč. Mergelės Marijos Ramintojos church in Vilnius to witness this exciting event. Even the priest Algirdas Toliatas, who baptized the baby, was pleasantly surprised and admired what a brave little boy Kristian was — unlike many other kids, he didn’t shed a tear during the whole ceremony! Kristian was given the baptismal name of Aleksandr.

We cannot wait to see what a wonderful young man Kristian will turn into, but for now, let’s still enjoy the journey of sleepless nights and dirty diapers while we still can!
